SAVOR St. Mary’s Pick-Your-Own Strawberries

Pick and eat delicious strawberries ripe off the vine at Southern Comfort Berry Farm in Bushwood. The farm offers strawberries in spring, watermelons in summer and pumpkins in fall. Southern Comfort Berry Farm will be opening to the public early this year. While the strawberry harvest generally isn’t ready until May, the mild winter in Southern Maryland has lead to early berries and an April opening. The farm has already starting supplying strawberries to the Good Earth in Leonardtown and will be opening to the public on April 18. Pick-Your-Own hours are Monday - Friday 10a.m. to 5p.m., Saturday 8a.m. to 5p.m. and Sunday noon to 5p.m. Check the farm’s Facebook page for the latest updates.
